Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand has evolved from Yala Teachers College since 1992. Established as a university in 2004, it has only 1 main campus (Campus) consisting of 3 learning centers:
University Learning Center is Located in the center of the city, Muang District, Yala Province, No. 133, Tessaban 3 Road, Sateng Subdistrict, Muang District, Yala Province, with an area of approximately 105 rai (43.08 acres) with convenience, fully equipped to support teaching and operation. The core of the university has a population of over 10,000 teachers, staff and students living in peace and quiet in the fresh air. The temperature is cool all year between 23-33 degrees Celsius, no pollution and traffic problems.
The university also has an area of Biodiversity Learning and Research Center, the Biodiversity Center, in Commemoration of 72 nd Anniversary Queen Sirikit : BCQY. The area of approximately 41 rai (16.20 acers). It is Located at Lamphaya Sub-District, Muang District, Yala Province. There is a research area in the Lam Phaya Valley in the Sankalakiri mountain range, which has a humid rainforest or tropical rain forest with an altitude of 50-700 meters above sea level. The hilltop area is a protected area with abundance. The plain is an agricultural area.
In addition, the university has an area of Mae Lan Learning Center, Mae Lan District, Pattani Province, with an area of approximately 200 rai (79.05 acers), approximately 20 kilometers far from the main learning center.It is an agricultural learning center, modern farm management ,and the sufficiency economy agriculture learning base under the royal initiative of King Rama 9, focusing on the area. the demonstration plot and modern agricultural research suitable for the context in the southern border provinces of Thailand.
