planting trees at Chan Ka Pho Garden - the main green park amidst YRU main campus, marking the 87th anniversary of Rajabhat Day

On February 10, 2021, Asst.Prof.Dr. Sombat Yotatip, President of Yala Rajabhat University, is accompanying Dr Sirichai Namburi, Asst.Prof.Dr. Thanakorn Pamutha and staff from the Construction and Facilities management office joined in planting trees at Chan Ka Pho Garden - the main green park amidst YRU main campus, marking the 87th anniversary of Rajabhat Day.

The university held the tree planting event annually as part of Green YRU plan to strengthen environmental greenness to promote a healthier learning environment.

Considering the importance of green areas for sustainable environmental development, YRU has attained the greater potential to contribute to it by increasing more green spaces on the campus. Since 2019, YRU has planted over 100 plants of big tree and shrub each year, responding to the Green YRU’s planting plan to gain 500 plants around the main campus by the end of 2022.
