University program(s) to cope with Covid-19 pandemic :2020 - 2021

- An activity that lends out laptop computers for study purposes.
YRU, by Academic Resources and Information Technology Center has prepared laptops to assist students who are studying from home or university. During semester 1/2021, an activity that lends out laptop computers for study purposes was carried out four times. A Google form has been filled out by 480 students who have expressed an interest in participating in the activity. Following qualification, the committees considered providing laptops to students for study purposes, totaling 423 students.

- Activities to develop the meeting room and conference room.

YRU, by Academic Resources and Information Technology Center, had developed a meeting room and conference room, totaling 3 rooms such as Sapab meeting room, Lada meeting room, Kladee meeting room on second floor, building 20, and one set of mobile teaching room equipment and conference room.

- Activities to support learners by developing information technology infrastructure (ICT Infrastructure).
YRU, by Academic Resources and Information Technology Center, had developed information technology infrastructure (ICT Infrastructure) according to 8 lists

2. Random Access Memory (RAM) for HCI system 8 pieces
3. Hard disk for HCI system 16 units
4. External storage device 1 unit
5. Network security Next Generation Firewall 1 unit
6. Endpoint Security 63 copyrights
7. Battery for uninterruptible power supply for main network 4 units
8. Developed information technology for servicing in study purposes 1 system

- YRU e-learning system for online teaching
A Learning Management System (LMS) is a system for managing learning when teaching online via the Internet using open source software called Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment). It is used to help organize activities in an online learning system. Besides, to create an environment similar to that of a traditional classroom, where teachers and students can interact with one another, there is a website management system that helps administrators, teachers, and students all at the same time. Also, there are tools available to assist in the organization of knowledge resources and an educational setting for teaching as effectively as possible via the internet.

- Increasing the bandwidth of YRU Uninet service provider internet channel from 1Gbps to 10Gbps.

- Purchasing a device (Router) to find a network path that supports 10Gbps speeds.

- Purchasing a network security devices (firewalls) capable of 10Gbps speeds.
